Parents

Close relationships and co-operation between home and school are the basis for a happy and secure child. We view education as a partnership, and trust that we can work together with parents for the benefit of the children. 

Helping your child do well

Children spend significantly longer with their parents/carers that they do with their teachers and so it is really important that we work as a team to help your child to achieve the best  they can in school. 

Mathletics and TTRockstars are useful resources for helping your child become more engaged with learning through the use of educational games, activities & creative tools.

Extra-Curricular Activities

We have a number of extra curricular activities available at school to enhance our provision:

Visits and Visitors - We believe that children learn best when they are excited about their learning, so we plan for off site activities and visits where possible, linked to our school curriculum. We also encourage visitors to come into school to enhance our teaching and learning opportunities.

After School Clubs - Each term, staff run a variety of clubs after school which your child may want to join. We also have some external clubs available. 

We aim to involve ourselves in as many sporting activities and opportunities as possible, including inter-school competitions in cricket, rugby, netball and football.

Music is an area which we aim to enhance in the school beyond pupil's weekly music lessons, with the availability of joining the school choir and orchestra for example.
